ROTARIANS SPREADING PEACE ACROSS BORDERS
Subash Prasad, a young man – physically and mentally challenged Indian citizen was found after 1.5yrs sick, wounded and unable to speak, abandoned in the Nilphamari District of Bangladesh with no ways of going back to his village in Bahraich, UP India.
Indian Cordinator’s Rtn. Rizwana & Rtn. Talkin Zamindar of RC Bharuch RID 3060 have been relentlessly involved in Subash’s Repatriation process along with Bangladesh Cordinator Rtn Shamsul Huda of RC Banani Dhaka RID 3281 – stranger’s who together got their country’s Governments moving.
On 21st March 2023 Subhash Prasad was handed over to his parents In presence of PRID Kamal Sanghvi & both countries cordinator’s at 0 Point at No Man’s land, Petrapol ICP, West Bengal.
Rtn. Talkin & Rtn. Rizwana Zamindar have generously sponsored this rescue program from the Indian side.
We salute them for taking up this daunting task and achieving something which has brought laurels to our club and district.
